Q: Why can't I just charge everything on my credit card and have everyone pay me back later?
A: Shut up.
Q: I don't have javascript enabled and the site doesn't work.
A: You'll have that.
Q: Are you hungry?
A: No. I'm alright.
Q: In the end does everyone pay exactly the same amount?
A: Maybe. If the average calculates to an even cent then they do. If not, some people will end up paying at most one cent more than others. In the end everyone will be within one cent of the exact average.
Q: What happens to the fractions of a cent that are rounded off?
A: I round everything down and move the remainders into my retirement account. It's like Superman III.
Q: Really?
A: No. Actually all payments are rounded such that the person who paid more initially is more likely to get the extra cent. It's kinda like they earned a little interest from their mooching friends.
